Senior Projects 2025

MORGAN ANDERSON

What is your senior project?

I’m making a local business documentary and I’m including Restore Massage and Mijitas Mexican Kitchen.

What is one thing you have learned during this project?

I’ve learned that local businesses are so interconnected and depend on each other more than I realized. Also, starting a business is not as hard as it seems if you have a good support group and relationships.

What was your challenge in completing this project?

The biggest challenge was getting it going after coming back from Japan. I didn’t want to do any work and I just wanted to be done with school, but the whole interview process has been very insightful and I’m enjoying talking to people about their business.

How does your project benefit the community?

I hope to provide more awareness, support, and profit through my project.

Why did you choose this project?

I chose this project because of the negative impacts that COVID had on locals. I wanted to give even more revival and exploration into the businesses that would motivate the rest of the community to support in any way they can, even if it’s just saying hello.

SOLIANNA HALABISKY

What is one thing you have learned during this project?

I have only learned more wonderful things about the amazing environment that we live in.

What was your biggest challenge in completing this project?

Time.

How does your project benefit the community?

Gives people a free dance show to go to and teaches people to appreciate the environment.

Why did you choose this project?

Because I love dance and I love science.
